My practice is focused entirely upon the representation of people who have been hurt due to a company’s decisions to choose profits over safety. There has been a lot of talk these days about corporations having the same rights as people. People have to be accountable for their actions. Whether it’s a company’s own employees who get hurt or the consumers injured by a company’s products, I feel like corporations should be held accountable for the injuries caused by their products.
I have always viewed my role, particularly in depositions and trials, as the protector of my clients. I wish I could say that I am driven exclusively by my clients, but I have to admit I am quite competitive. I blame it on being 1 of 4 children to a mother who kept latchkey kids at our home after school. On a given day, I was 1 of 12 children running around our house and yard. I learned early that the only way to get attention or achieve distinction was to be the best at whatever we were doing.
My young family makes Dallas, TX home. However, no matter the state, I help families by fighting large corporations on their behalf. We all win when we live in a safer community, and it takes many people to achieve that goal. I feel like my part in reaching this goal is advocating in the courts, and I am grateful for the opportunity to do my part.
