I started my career in 2004 at Goldberg, Persky and White P.C. in Pittsburgh, PA, where I was named a Shareholder in 2013. I was actively involved in all phases of asbestos litigation, including client outreach, discovery, trial preparation, and negotiation. In 2018, I started my own law firm, Kapusta and Schweers, where I represented clients injured by asbestos exposure. In 2023, I welcomed a wonderful opportunity to join the Dean Omar Branham Shirley team as the Managing Attorney of the Pittsburgh office. Joining DOBS allowed me to expand my career outside of the Pittsburgh area and to work with a firm that is changing the law and our clients’ lives, for the better, daily. At DOBS, I have the opportunity to work with colleagues who share a strong work ethic and a commitment to helping people in need.
My focus has been on helping those who have been harmed and on working for the betterment of the community. I have lived in Pittsburgh my entire career and have had the honor of representing the men and women who worked hard to support their families and build the Steel City. I watched my client’s lives be forever changed after their diagnosis of mesothelioma and lung cancer, and I am committed to fighting for justice for them and their families.
